How Townships Work

Liberty Township no longer has a room available for rental.

 

 Liberty Township Leaf Pickup will begin on November 1 and end on December 4th weather pending. All leaf piles MUST be placed in the yard 4 feet from the curb.  Please DO NOT pile leaves in the street!  If leaves are piled in the street they will not be picked up. Only piles containing  leaves will be picked up.  Please do not put any other materials in these piles. No sticks, plants, grass clippings, pumpkins or acorns. From the Trustees

     As the Trustees of Liberty Township our paramount objectives are to increase the safety, provide the necessary services and generally improve the quality of life of the citizens of Liberty Township in the most cost effective manner.

     We always try to respond to the needs of Liberty Township Residents in a timely and courteous manner.  We try to solve what situations the Ohio Revised Code gives us the power to act upon and to refer other situations to the appropriate authorities and follow up with them to get a resolution to the problem.

     The Trustees hold their regular monthly meetings in the conference room at the Liberty Township Fire Department at 9975 Township Road 89. The meeting dates vary, so please check the Calendar tab for each month's date and time.  These meetings are open to the public and the Trustees encourage your attendance.
